Eddie, Dawn and Trey, We have prayed for your comfort and healing for awhile now. Today is a sad day for Pender County and Emily's close friends and family. Your EMILY has touched many lives not only locally but across the nation. Dawn & Eddie your courage has been unfailing and your strength has been amazing. God bless you all during this time and from our family to yours may God hold you close and know that Emily is continuing to hold on tight to your love.

It is truly a sad time for all of you and for all of us that knew and loved Em. She has touched and changed so many lives thru her testimony. May you always remember she is healed, I know that does not relieve the loss but may you find comfort in OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST. Hold onto that FAITH that has brought you this far and that same FAITH will take you to Heavens Gate and you will see EM waiting for you. May God Bless each and everyone.

Dear Emily's Family,
I am so sorry this day had to come for all of you, but I know that Emily is healed and that devil cancer did not win. God is stonger than cancer. Emily is more alive today than ever and this is for eternity, not this vapor we call life. I pray you can celebrate her short, but meaningful life. She touched more people for the glory of God, than most us older folks. As a Mother my heart hurts for you so badly, as I've know the loss of a son and it hurts. There simply are no words to comfort you. That is alright, because God is going to hold you up and give you strength to go forward each day. Just follow Jesus through this valley, He knows the path. We am still following Him as it gives us comfort, that we don't have to travel alone, for Bob and I are weak, but He is strong. Our prayers will be with you for these very hard days ahead and for as long as you need us to pray. Our heartfelt sympathy to every family member. Heaven is a sweeter place today for Angel Emily has arrived.! To God Be the Glory!

We were saddened this morning to hear about our sweet Emily! But we are also rejoicing that Emily is able to run and play and is pain free. Our love and prayers are with each and everyone of you. We would just like to express how much Emily has touched all of us here in our office. Everyday we see our precious Angel on the walls of Canady's! Her pictures draw attention to our 35ish technicians and families! We were truly blessed to know such a beautiful young child and her family that has touched so many peoples lives. Be strong and know that Emily is in Heaven with Jesus sitting on his lap smiling down at us. Lots of love and prayers to Dawn, Eddie, Trey, and Family!

How did you know Emily?: fund raisers in Hampstead
|
I must say i didnt know you all on a personal level,but felt as if I did by reading all the updates, and attending fund raisers. I have a huge lump in my throat this morning, and a very sad feeling inside today,but know that she is feeling wonderful as she can finally walk,run,and play with no pain. Through this journey with Emily i have learned that getting upset over the little things like bad attitudes,or a huge mess in the floor isnt so bad. I have learned to let the little things slide, and pick my battles, and even though my kids know how much I love them I let them know a little more. Your story has opened the eyes of so many, and I honestly am so sadned for you today, but know you are very happy for her to not hurt anymore. Thanks you so much for sharing emily's life with the world! You have brought many people together. Many prayers!
