Back at Duke
Emily & Dawn headed back to Duke on Sunday after Thanksgiving. Monday & Tuesday were spent visiting the clinic for tests, scans, and bloodwork. Results from the spinal tap done before the holidays have come in CLEAR. Praise the Lord for good news!!! Tomorrow, Wednesday, she has an eye appt. in the a.m. then onto the hospital for admission to her room. Currently they are giving her lots of fluids to make sure her body is very hydrated before chemo presumably begins on Thursday. Pray for Emily as she begins this long road of daily treatments, 6 days per week. Pray for strength and patience as Eddie & Dawn head on this journey with Emily. They are both with her as they begin the chemotherapy. As soon as the room # is established, it will be posted for cards and letters to be mailed to Emily.
