Fever
Just wanted to let everyone know that Emily is on her way back to Duke. She has been running a fever of 103 for 24 hours and the Doctors said to bring her in. They said she could have a little “bug” or possibly an infection in her line. Either way, they need to see her.
Emily looked and acted really good, even kissed me goodbye! She was talking up a storm and didn’t act sick. Had a big bag of Halloween candy packed to go with her and was smacking on some bubblegum. Aren’t little ones just amazing?
Since coming home on October 13, she has had some really fun times. She has visited, played, attended parties,etc. and has been able to be her normal little self. It has been such a delight to ride by and see her on her big wheel or helping sweep the garage! We pray that the fever will go away very quickly and that whatever the problem is, that it will not inhibit her current well being.
