Resting – no hospitalization

Just an update to let everyone know that Emily is resting and as of 10:30 this a.m. they did not have to admit her to the hospital.  Pray that all is well and doesn’t change so that she can enjoy Christmas with her Mommy & Daddy & Trey.

Fever

Went in to check on Emily’s  lines around 11:30  before I went to bed,  and she woke up at the same time,  she felt hot even her hands which are always cold .  Then  started vomiting,  and had to go potty, loose stools.  So I took her temp.  101.0. I called in, and for now just monitering every hour.  If fever increases  or doesn’t decrease,  I will have to take her to the hospital.  Eddie is coming in the morning. 5200 wing  is where we will be if I go in tonight.  She will not let me check temp oral now because I know she is so tired and frustrated so I have to use the ear therm.  I pray  we all don’t have to go in this late.  I’ll keep you posted.

Emily is doing good today,  We did not make the appointment with Dr. G  because her fluids were not done in time.  I called him and he said when she finished, to come in for the blood transfusion.   Emily will see him Thursday.  I  played  Emily’s “Song of Love” CD,  you should have seen her face when it started playing!  “How do they know  my cousins and friends,  and Trey”, she asked.  It took some explaining.  She loves it!
