Emily’s Smiles through Difficult Trials

Paw Paw just got home from visiting Emily and said they had gotten admitted back into Duke for the next round of chemo scheduled to start tomorrow.  Prior to that they will be doing another blood transfusion and giving her more platelets.  They also had a good report on Monday regarding her hearing – it seems to be just fine!  Emily is still not eating but with the TPN she receives, her weight has come back up to 32 lbs.  If all goes well, they hope to be discharged by mid next week and back to the apt.  Until then, her room # is:
