Radiation tomorrow

The Radiation Dr. decided it would be best to go ahead and begin radiation tomorrow, Thursday. They are scheduled for 1:30 and it shouldn’t take but just a few minutes; however, Emily will not be put to sleep and must lay completely still. This is very uncomfortable for her, so please pray that the minutes will pass very quickly for her. She will repeat this process again on Friday. Her legs and lower back continue to hurt terribly and the sooner they start radiation, then hopefully the sooner she will have some relief.
Eddie told me this evening that earlier today Emily was craving chocolate chip cookies and he had to go buy her some. 
She ate half the bag and didn’t want to share with Mommy & Daddy! Her appetite is pretty good these days and for that we are grateful. Emily will be excited tomorrow evening when Nana & Grandaddy come and bring Trey 
to see her. She’ll have something to look forward to all afternoon.
Speaking of excitement, she is excited about her birthday party. YEAH its girls only the first hour, then the boys get to come. Divide and conquer I suppose, funny how kids plan things! They will have a great time I’m sure! Gives Emily something fun to look forward to and make the time pass quickly until this weekend when she can come home for her party.
