Sunshiney Day!
Finally have a minute to give an update! Emily has been sleeping alot this past week & 1/2. There have been several days when Emily has stayed in bed all day long. She continues to color and cut pictures for her crafts. Her legs have been hurting more this week, and sometimes she doesn’t want to be moved. 
Wednesday was so nice outside, and I kept asking her didn’t she want to go out and hear the birds singing and sit in the sunshine. 
At first she said she would stay inside, then she decided she would try. I put her in her motorized chair, and she was ready to roll. She drove to the backyard to let Levi out of the Kennel, and raced up and down the driveway and past Aunt Cheryl’s house. 
Stephanie saw Emily speeding down the driveway and stopped to chat and watch her race away from me. Thursday was another nice day but she didn’t feel like going out. 
Her nurse came by Thursday afternoon to take her bloodwork. Emily stayed on the sofa where she drew pictures and made cutouts. Friends from Church brought dinner Thursday afternoon and it was delicious.! We plan to go to Duke on Tuesday for an MRI and Chemo Treatments. We thank everyone for continuing to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
